Bits From the Vote Vets Website:
"The mission of VoteVets Political Action Committee is to elect Veterans to public office; hold public officials accountable for their words and actions that impact America’s 21st century service members, Veterans, and their families; and fully support our men and women in uniform. "
"VoteVets was founded in 2006 by Veterans who had doubts about the trajectory of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. We wanted to change the way our nation talks about war, how and why we send our military into harm’s way, and what we can do to prevent future conflicts, particularly through strengthening our diplomatic efforts..........
"After completing military service, Veterans need and deserve a strong economy that works for them, and access to high-quality, affordable health care. VoteVets is a strong advocate for economic programs that create jobs for Veterans, and make our nation more competitive in the 21st century. We work closely with our allies in the labor movement to advance pro-veteran, pro-union policies. VoteVets believes providing all our servicemembers, Veterans, and our families with the ability to obtain high-quality, affordable health care is essential.

Proud to Carry the KEPAC (Kentucky Educators Political Action Committee) Endorsement for 2024
This is the ONLY financial contribution I have received during this campaign; the rest of the campaign has been self-funded. As a school board candidate, the rules for taking funds for a campaign from teachers as individuals is murky and I made a conscious decision to not ask for donations for this campaign. None of my other endorsements came with financial backing and I did not expect this one to. The check from KEPAC actually came as a pleasant surprise during the last leg and has helped cover some last-minute wish list expenses.
Teachers fund a lot out of pocket for their classrooms and do a lot to provide for their students that come to school with little. I felt to best represent them that I should fund as much of the campaign as possible from my own pocket, in solidarity with them. As a result, I have done a lot of what they do. I have used my creativity and found value in low dollar resources. Keeping campaigns under 3,000 are also easier to account for with KREF. It can be done with some general computer knowledge, an inexpensive laser printer, a nose for prime day deals and some basic art skills!
Thank you KEPAC for the support and helping me get to the finish line for our educators!

" It’s easy to vote based on what is the best option for just you and your family. When I set out two years ago to cast my vote for school board representative, I did so not only as the parent of a Boone County Schools student, I did so as the parent of a homeschool student but most importantly as an active member of the community. I have seen first hand the passion and commitment Carolyn Wolfe has for our students and community at large. Carolyn’s natural ability to fairly and effectively represent every demographic of our diverse district is second to none. Come this November I am eager and happy to cast my vote for Carolyn Wolfe. "

"Hello Fellow Neighbors,
I have known Carolyn for several years, and I can promise you, she’s the most qualified candidate for the Boone County District 1 Board of Education seat.
She is a dependable, level-headed mother of two, whose decisions for her family and as a member of the Board are always heartfelt and fact-based.
Prior to her current tenure as a board member, she served as the PTA President at North Pointe Elementary where she coordinated festivals, recruited volunteers, and lined up vendors to provide entertainment for events, with the goal of making the experience cost-free to each and every student.
Carolyn remains active in several PTA’s and PTO’s in our district, mentoring and guiding those who currently serve. She always makes herself available to anyone who needs her help. She routinely places others before herself, and as the true public servant that she is, offers her time and energy out of the goodness of her heart, all for the benefit of the kids and our community.
I’m constantly impressed with her thoughtfulness and comprehensive understanding of the needs of our schools. I am proud to call her a friend and mentor, and I stand behind her with my vote in November."

"As a parent, we have concerns about the quality of education in our schools – things like student health, school safety, and knowing that when our children come home, they have received the kind of education that will serve them will in the years ahead.
Carolyn Hankins Wolfe is dedicated to this and more.
As a veteran, a mother, and a member of the Board of Education for the past two years, she appreciates the value of discipline and has first-hand knowledge of the challenges today’s parents face.
Since serving on the Board, she has voted to:
· Place an AED (defibrillator) inside every school, and ensuring that teachers and staff within are properly trained on how to use it
· Revise the disciplinary policy, leading to more productive alternatives than expelling a struggling student
· Scrutinize how budgetary funds are spent, making sure that they are used wisely
· Increase the pay of our dedicated teachers and staff
Moving forward, Carolyn’s ideas and goals include:
· addressing educational inequities
· supporting all students to make sure their career paths are streamlined
· stressing the importance of early childhood education
· pushing for alternative and trade schools
· continuing to support competitive pay for school employees
For these reasons and more, I will vote for Carolyn Hankins Wolfe and it is my hope that you will as well."

Proud to Carry a Gun Sense Candidate Distinction from Moms Demand Action for 2024--
My husband and I are both veterans, parents, and we both are gun owners. We know that with freedom comes responsibility. We should be teaching gun safety just as we teach civics in our classrooms. A big part of the original charge of public education has been to prepare our kids for the responsibilities that come along with citizenship. Today, we are seeing more and more that our kids need to understand gun safety and what to do if they see a gun that does not belong to them, understanding that they are not toys to be played with, and the consequences that comes along with abusing the rights given to them.
We also should be providing a location for parents to pick up a gun lock, FOR FREE and without fear of being tracked. It has been proven that gun locks do save lives. Locking up our guns keeps accidents from happening AND it can prevent kids from committing suicide by gun. Over the last 3 school years, in Boone County, we have had 3 students take their lives with the assistance of an unsecured firearm. If parents understand the warning signs of suicide, they can lock their guns ups if they are not already locked. And if they are not and they learn the importance of doing so, they will have the tools to help them.
Gun sense is not about restricting rights. It is about saving lives from accidental death, self-harm and making it more difficult for criminals or potential criminals, like school shooters, to get their hands on legally owned weapons.
Board of Education is a non-partisan race! This means you need to actually check the box next to the name for it to count, just like the amendments. You can find me if you are in Division 1, listed 1st on the ballot for the Board of Education seat--Carolyn Hankins Wolfe.
FLIP THE BALLOT OVER AND VOTE NO ON AMENDMENT 2! This entire amendment will give Frankfort the authority to use public tax dollars toward education any way they see fit without any guardrails for the legislators OR the private institutions that will receive the funds. This opens a dangerous door that will swing both ways!
